We just released a new version of our Intrigg.
It features a slightly shorter body (20mm shorter) so it fits even the shortest cut-tom builds.
Most importantly, our already great SensoDynamo sensor system has been further improved in V2.
How does this trigger function with mylar heads? I’m trying to put together a hybrid kit with a little stage volume. I want to use an internal trigger in conjunction with regular acoustic (Evans) drum heads. I’ve tried internal triggers from Pintech and Alien Gear on my toms with less than satisfactory results, using various settings on my Roland TD-12. I’ve also tried external Roland triggers on my Toms with sub par results. Too much double triggering when I turn up the sensitivity and missed strokes when I turn it down. My snare and bass function fine with internal triggers from these companies. Probably because of the tightness of the snare head in contrast to the looser toms. The bass drum functions fine with an external trigger. Have you tested this trigger on Tom toms with mylar heads? – Roy
